True inspiration:

A child had been fortunate enough to come through the program almost 10 years ago.

After completing high school and then college, this xmas for kids alumni had started a professional career, and had returned to middle Tennessee. Never forgetting how Xmas for kids had such a great impact, this person now returns every year as a volunteer. We are proud that we were able to make a difference in someone's life in a beautiful way, and are grateful that this tradition is being passed on....it doesn't get much better!

Christmas for Kids was an idea originally put together by professional drivers for entertainers.

This year 52 custom entertainer coaches, limos and RV's gathered to take  children from the middle Tennessee area from their schools to a dinner and Xmas party at the First Baptist Church in Hendersonville TN. 

After a parade through town which was over a half mile long, being led by "Booker T" Sumner Co Sheriff's Dept, and Hendersonville PD, we went on to a shopping trip at the largest Wal-Mart® in Hendersonville,TN, where each child was allowed to spend 175.00 dollars on whatever they wanted. After the shopping the kids are taken back to their schools, and awaiting parents...smiles included!!!!!!

If one ever wanted to see the best way to extend happiness to those who need it, this is the place to be.

The equipment, and fuel was donated from the owners of the equipment, drivers donated their time to operate the coaches along with chaperones, Law Enforcement, TN National Guard, Various Entertainers, and most graciously Wal-Mart and the fantastic employees of the Wal-Mart store ,Hendersonville,TN.
